An interaction hub that allows users and capstone/thesis researchers to communicate directly is what distinguishes this project from others. By enabling community involvement and knowledge exchange this feature turns the platform into a collaborative environment. This unique element not only makes the project more original, but it also fits in with the changing nature of academic communication in the modern era.
The proposed Web-Based Capstone and Thesis Archiving System for Tarlac State University's College of Computer Studies aims to develop a user-friendly platform for academic project preservation and accessibility. With the help of keywords users can quickly find specific projects and browse through categories like most downloaded, most viewed, most liked, course, year, and specialization. Users can also express their gratitude for uploaded files through the systems feedback feature. With an interactive chatbox that allows users to ask questions about the projects an interaction hub allows creators of projects and students to communicate directly.
The system consists of two main modules: Administrator and Students/Researchers. The Administrator module allows administrators to manage user accounts, view uploaded studies, approve, or reject files, and edit project pages through a secure login. The approving and rejecting of files feature are added so that incase of wrong uploading of files by the student, it will be monitored. Editing project pages is a feature added to correct errors made within the capstone and thesis project. The Student/Researcher module includes features for uploading projects, viewing project lists, downloading, and editing projects are all accessible after secure login.
