ParishPoint: A Web-Based Church Management System with an Appointment Scheduling System

Submitted by: ADMIN

The capstone project aimed to develop ParishPoint: A Web-Based Church Management System with an Appointment Scheduling System. The researchers inserted a new function, the Appointment Scheduling System, that was missing with many existing systems that were also checked, tested, and evaluated by the researchers. The methodology used to develop the system is the RAD (Rapid Application Development) Methodology which helped the researchers make the system's features. The researchers took four months to develop and test the whole system before it was implemented. The tests conducted on the system were during and after the development process with the given test scenarios that helped the researchers identify errors and problems. A compatibility test was also conducted where the system was tested in browsers that people often use. The system was also tested and used by the Locale chosen, the San Antonio de Padua Parish Church at Caramutan, La Paz, Tarlac. The researchers concluded that the ParishPoint: Church Management System with Appointment Scheduling System would be a bridge for the members of the Church and the organization. The presence of an Appointment Scheduling System will make things easier for both management and members. It was recommended that future researchers add some features that can strengthen the system, such as adding text message notifications, integrated online payment methods, automated forms, and members' user accounts can be used in any other functions aside from the appointment scheduling system.
